Emelie Mae Maples

Emelie Mae Maples, age 77, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at her home.

No services are planned.

Emelie was born April 13, 1935 in Ludington, Michigan to John and Gloria Mae (Pratt) Fox.   Married to Harvey G. Maples on April 27, 1978 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.  They retired to Arkdale, WI in 1995.

Emelie enjoyed dolls, rummage sales, internet, gardening, camping, and nature.

Emelie was preceded in death by her parents, children:  Donny and Toni; husband, Harvey; and brothers and sisters.

Grandchild:  Jeffrey (Jenny) Maples of Mukwonago, Wisconsin

Grandchild:  Leland Schams III of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Grandchild:  Dean Maples of Houston, Texas

Further survived by brothers, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many good friends and neighbors.

    I was so Sorry to hear of Emelie’s passing. She was such a nice woman. She often attending our Sunday With Friends meal program here at the Arkdale Trinity Church. She will be missed. May the good Lord grant you comfort and peace as only He can give. You have my heartfelt condolences.

    Emelie was a Grand Lady. So full of fun and mischief. When I worked at the Senior Center she was always the light of my day!. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
