Evelyn B. Trunk, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin died July 23, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Evelyn was born February 21, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Chester and Janette Lasfalk.
In 1944 she married Alex Trunk in Chicago. They moved from Chicago to Adams to raise their five children, Barbara, John, Ken, Myron and Dawn. Alex preceded Evelyn in death on May 29, 1966. She later married Chester Konopacki on July 16, 1967. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1994.
Evelyn loved crafts, dancing, going to the senior center and spending time with her caregiver Mary, Mary’s husband Warren and their dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester & Janette Lasfalk; husband, Alex Trunk; second husband, Chester Konopacki and Daughter in law, Debra Gold-Trunk

Son: John Trunk of Elroy, Wisconsin
Son: Ken (Jewell Schleizer) Trunk of Coloma, Wisconsin
Son: Myron Trunk of Friendship, Wisconsin
Daughter: Dawn Trunk of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. I always enjoyed talking to her when we would run into each other. I haven’t seen her for some time but remember what a remarkable women she was. I will be unable to make it to the services for her but will keep her and all of you in my thoughts and prayers. May our Heavenly Father and Great Spirit above give each and everyone of you comfort.
