Maryland Hirchert

Maryland C. Lynn” Hirchert, age 88, of Friendship, passed away on September 4, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

She was born on January 14, 1925 in Racine, Wisconsin the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Johnson) Hartnell. She married Robert Hirchert at Frieden’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha on August 11, 1949. After spending their entire life in Kenosha, they moved to Deming, N.M. in 1982. Robert passed away on 2002 in New Mexico and Lynn returned to Kenosha in 2004. In 2012 Lynn moved to Friendship Wisconsin to be closer to her family.

Lynn was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and reading. She was a member of St. Luke’s Church in Kenosha and became a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Friendship in November 2012.

Lynn is survived by her daughter Judy (Leonard) Breezee, four grandchildren, Lonny (Cathy) Breezee, Leon (Joane) Breezee, Lynn (James) Barron and Leisa (Ken) Pratt; 8 grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia Williams and Norma Knutter both of Kenosha.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Luke Breezee, her sister Fern Scheunemann and brother John Hartnell.

According to Lynn’s wishes there will be a private Funeral Service.

    I, too, always visited Bob and Lynn and still think of them often. Loved Bob’s jokes and Lynn’s special laugh…. She will be missed. Love, Jackie
