Wayne Allen Morgan Sr., age 72, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin died September 11, 2013 at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Barbara Merwin / Rev. John Stake will officiate. Interment will be at the Easton
Cemetery, Easton, Wisconsin. Military Honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Wayne was born March 31, 1941 in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin to Frank and Modjeska (Mink) Morgan. He grew up in Grand Marsh, attending Grand Marsh Elementary School and graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1959. He moved to Milwaukee in 1962 and served the Army from 1963-1964 and was honorably discharged in 1964 due to health. He married Shirley Cavanaugh on November 19, 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wayne was employed at Milwaukee Die Casting Co. for 37 ½ years before retiring to White Creek.

Wayne enjoyed taking care of his animals, hunting, fishing, traveling, and most of all country music.

Wayne was member of American Legion Post# 331 in Shorewood, WI; Sons of the American Legion #273; and Castle Rock Chapter of the VVA #729.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Modjeska Morgan; brother-in-law, Leonard Hamman.

Nephew: Tracy Hamman of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin
Nephew: Leonard (Paula) Hamman of Medford, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Alexander Morgan of Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Olivia Phelps of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Grandchild: James Phelps of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Autumn Grunwald of Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Noah Grunwald of Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Further survived by a host of family and friends.
