Ann, Chuck, Anita and family – I had the pleasure of work with Gil for a few years at the prison; he was a wonderful mentor and friend. Another Angel has been called home to watch over us all. He will be missed by many. Prayers to you all.
Angie, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
From Robert Levitt “I only met Gib once, but once is all it took to know what a nice person he was. I had the opportunity to enjoy Ann and Gib’s company when they stayed overnight at my home.” I will miss him very much. God Bless your family, Ann.
From Debbie Fritz: My dad, Bob Levitt, spoke so highly about Mary’s Sister, Ann and husband Gib. I talked to Ann one time and she was so friendly and easy to talk to just like Mary. We were sorry to hear about Gib. May he be in heaven and out of pain and at peace. God Bless you Ann and Mary and your families.
Ann, Chuck, Anita, Angie and families,
Saddened to hear of Gib’s passing. I remember first meeting Gib thru Wendell and Jaunita Smith, and then Ann went on to babysit for Chad for awhile. Spoiled him rotten. When Gib worked at the school my friend had the honor to work with him in the kitchen, and he became a wonderful friend and mentor to her. I believe she was one of the angels to greet him Home last week. You have my deepest sympathies. I will pray for all for peace and understanding.
Anna and the Carter Family, Sorry to hear of Gils passing, you’re in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Knew Gil for many years, enjoyed talking with him. he was always looking for another razor for his collection.God Bless
Ann, Charles, Michael, and family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I know Gib is in a better place and is now surrounded by those who went before him, my Dad Don, Lois, Toots, Boyd, and his other friends and loved ones too many to name. We can all take comfort in knowing that we will see him again in heaven when each of our times come to pass from this earthly world. I have so many wonderful memories of Gib and his great sense of humor, laugh, and smile. He was a wonderful Uncle. With Love, Teensey
I am sorry for your loss, Gib was such a nice man. I am sure he will be missed greatly.

Chuck, you know we love you. We are always here for you. We love you, man!
Gib was the most devoted person I have met. Devoted to his family, his jobs, and to himself. He made choices and never wavered on those choices. He always set his standards high and was, therefore, the greatest role model to everyone around him. He didn’t spend alot of words on what he did; instead, he spent time and action. I appreciate the many experiences that made him into the man he was. I always say that it’s not the mistakes you make, it’s how you grow from those mistakes. As everyone, Gib made mistakes and sowed some oats when he was young, but those experiences made him a good and compassionate father-in-law and father. He never judged people. Instead he chuckled and said, “Oh, boy…” He never said “no” to his family and he cherished all the picture moments he shared with us traveling, talking, spending holidays, fishing in Canada and Missouri and breaking down on Crater Lake Mountain. I will truly miss you; hopefully, the family you left behind can sustain on the great memories you left us. We love you.
