When I think of George, I hear his laugh. He was such a sweet, mild mannered man. I have so many memories with the Nowickis, spending hours sitting on their living room floor looking through Diane’s mountain of photos, spending Saturday morning breaks at Green St. Cafe, where Diane and George often shared a waffle, or always seeing George sit in his chair reading. For years George supported Diane in her pioneer ministry, often working with my dad in tree work. He always put Jehovah first. It’s a terrible thing to have to experience death, but I’m so greatful to know that our loved ones are simply “sleeping”, and Jehovah can’t wait for them to wake up! I love you Diane, thank you for all the memories that you made. But don’t stop making them!! You need to have some great adventure stories to tell George! 🙂 Our love goes to all the family. ~Kathleen

I am so sorry for your loss. George was a pillar in the kingdom hall, always faithful. I use to spend time as a child at George & Diane’s house in Crystal Lake. One thing I remember is George sitting in his chair in the living room reading his Bible. I asked him ” Do you always read the Bible?” he told me yes & that every year he read it he always found something new. That amazed me & has always stayed with me. I look forward to seeing him again. My love to the family. Diane thank you for all that George & you did for me & my family.
