  3. Kaye & Bob Eckert says:

Jim always made things lively and fun at our Rome and Wisconsin River woodcarving club gatherings. He was never at a loss for introducing a topic for discussion and letting people know his opinions. We will miss him. We wish the very best of memories to his family whom he loved very much and especially to his wife Pat and sister Mary Ann.

  4. Sophie Kubisiak says:

With a heavy Heart I give my deepest Sympathy, , I met Jim thru the Wisconsin River Woodcarvers Club, What a friendly outgoing person he was. I teased him about his smoking, telling him how my husband was a smoker and quit. and Jim would say some day. Well the day has come Jim and I hope as you sit and carve in Heaven with my Husband Bill, you chat and have him teach you more tricks to carving , and hopefully you two will watch over Pat and me. Rest in peace, your work on this earth is finished and now it is time to be at peace, no more pain.

May God comfort you during this difficult time. Jim was a wonderful and generous man. I remember sharing many hunting stories with him during his cardiac rehab. I will always remember the night he let me shoot his 32 cal. and 50 cal. muzzle loaders off the back deck of his house, we had a great time. He was a very good mentor to me.
