Evelyn Louise DeBell

pic copy_DeBellEvelyn Louise DeBell, age 72, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at her home.

Her request was to be cremated with burial at a later date.

Evelyn was born September 23, 1942 in Kennan, Wisconsin to Edward and Ester Peters.

She attended Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Evelyn married Eugene “Todd” DeBell on May 5, 1962 in Bristol, Wisconsin.

Following her retirement from Burgess Vibrocrafters in Grayslake, Illinois and Todd’s retirement from Chrysler, they moved to Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.

Evelyn worked at several jobs in Adams including the A-F County Market, Riteway Laundry, and Merts Handymart in Grand Marsh.

She enjoyed sewing, bowling with the Tuesday a.m. League, and especially going to casinos.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Ester Peters and her sister.

Husband:  Eugene “Todd” DeBell of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Daughter:  Carrol (William) Thomas of Sturtevant, Wisconsin

Son:  Randall (Renee) DeBell of Racine, Wisconsin

Brother:  Garry (Connie) McCombs of Creston, Illinois

Grandson:  Joshua DeBell

Granddaughter:  Ashley Portwich

Evelyn’s family would like to thank the ladies from Hospice Touch, especially Bonnie, Gail and Amber.

    Todd and Family , I can’t express the feelings i am having right now , learning of the passing of my Friend Evelyn , Loved her like a sister , Bowled with her on Tues. morning league, and so much fun , I will always remember her not only for her wonderful smile and personality but of course bowling …. but the tree skirt that she made me for my Christmas tree , it is under my tree right now as is every year ……..i do send my condolences to you and family , know that she is donig what she liked best ,,,,,,, so cherish all the memories you have of her and i am sure there is a bunch , hold her near her heart ….and God bless you all in this time of need ……

    So sorry to hear about Evelyns passing, I bowled on the same team wither for several years, we had a lot of fun, I have since moved to Sparta Wi. so didn’t know she was sick, again I am so sorry for all of you, know the words don’t help too much but remember the good memories and happy times, remembering them and talking about them helps.
