Maxine Marie Bondhouse Conroy

Maxine Marie Bondhouse Conroy, 82, of Kalamazoo, MI, Rome, WI and Sebring, FL passed away peacefully December 19, 2015. Maxine, loving wife of William “Bill” Conroy, was born June 15, 1933, in Kalamazoo, MI. Maxine and Bill were married on August, 1954, enjoying 60 years of a beautiful marriage of two best friends. Maxine attended Western Michigan University and was the glue that held it all together while raising their 5 children. In 1977 she and Bill opened two successful RV dealerships in the Chicago area. Maxine spearheaded one of the first consignment opportunities to sell pre-owned units.  She and Bill retired young and enjoyed 3 decades of fun, traveling, playing golf and meeting and making friends.  Maxine was a gracious, generous, and spunky person who will be missed by all that knew her but when you think of her she will bring a smile to your face.  Friends and family are welcomed to a celebration of Maxine’s life on Sunday, December 27th from 2-4 at her home.

Maxine was preceded in death a short 13 months before by Bill. Survived by her children: Kerry (Ron), Forest lake, MN: David (Jan), Monte Sereno, CA: Stefanie (Dave), Neenah, WI: Christine (Chuck), Joe (Debra), Estero, FL, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren who all loved her very much.
