Gerald A. Manteufel, age 81, of Dellwood, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home.
Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, April 14, 2015 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Quincy Cemetery at a later date.
Jerry was born July 12, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elmer and Marguerite Manteufel. He married Priscilla L. Betchner on March 28, 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Jerry enjoyed hunting and golfing. He also enjoyed fishing, and competed in the National Professional Walleye Tournaments for 4 years, once finishing in 18th place out of a field of 235 boats.
Jerry was a member of Moundview Golf Course for many years.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marguerite Manteufel; son, Steven Manteufel; and step-son, Eugene Roeglin.

Son: Mark (Jill) Manteufel of Waterford, Wisconsin
Grandson: Bob (Reannon) Manteufel of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Grandson: Chris Manteufel of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Jamie (Troy) McGee of Cameron, North Carolina
Five Great-Grandchildren
Sister: Judy (Doug) Hagedorn of Wausau, Wisconsin
Mother-in-law: Pearl Strelzynski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Brother-in-law: Arnold (Darlene) Strelzynski of Arkansas
Brother-in-law: Martin Strelzynski of Arkansas
Further survived by six nephews and nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Jerry was good at many things but what he excelled at was being a husband, father, and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by his family.
