Patricia Edith Cardo, age 61, of Coloma, WI, died on Monday, April 26th, 2004, surrounded by her loving family after a prolonged battle with a malignant brain tumor.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 29th, 2004 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Adams. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Burial to follow at the White Cemetery, Coloma, WI. Visitation will be at Roseberry’s Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.

Patricia was born in Adams-Friendship, WI on October 27th, 1942, the daughter of William and Rena (Peterson) Murphy. She dedicated her life to the Nursing profession, serving as a Medical Assistant, a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Registered Nurse upon graduation from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield, Wisconsin in 1970. Patricia worked at Adams County Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 2000. She is survived by her mother Rena Murphy, her brothers Thomas and Gerald Murphy, her husband of 20 years Gerald Cardo, her five children (Carmen, Lee Ann, Kelly, Kenn, Patrick), her three stepdaughters (Lori, Sandra, Gail) and her fifteen grandchildren, (Abel, Allison, Aron, Austin, Bailey, Dayne, Kasi, Mariah, Michaela, Nathan, Nicole, Parker, Patrick, Rachel and Zachri). She was preceded by her father William Murphy, her sister Joan Twachtman and her Granddaughter Amelia Gorsuch.
