Philip Robert "Bud"
Rhinehart, age 74, of Birchwood, WI (formally of Adams) died
Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in
Panama City, FL.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.
Friday, April 30th, 2004 at the White Creek
Congregational Church. Pastor Dwight Condon and Rev. Anita
Genrich will officiate. Burial will follow at the Easton
Cemetery. Friends may call at Roseberry’s on Thursday
evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
Philip was born August 24, 1929 to John and Hazel (Otto)
Rhinehart in the town of Dellona, Sauk County, WI. Philip
attended school at Pleasant Grove in the town of Dellona.
Philip worked for Scott Construction Co. for 18 years; and
the Adams County Highway Department for 13 years.
He married Janis A. Bacon in 1952. The couple lived 12
years in Lake Delton before moving to the Town of Easton
(Adams Co) in 1964. They owned and operated Brookside
grocery & garage. In 1982 they moved to the city of Adams.
In 2000 they moved to Birchwood, WI for the summers and
Lanark Village, FL for the winter months.
Philip enjoyed fishing in Wisconsin and the Gulf of
Mexico, hunting, playing cards, dancing, watching baseball,
especially when his grandchildren were playing, and any
other activities his grandchildren were participating in.
He was a past member of the Lake Delton Fire Department,
Philip was a member of the White Creek Congregational
Church, Birchwood United Methodist Church, Lanark Village
Community Church.
Preceding him in death are parents; brothers Virgil,
Kenneth, Paul, and Adelbert; sisters Ruby Davis, Mildred
Chance, Helen, Esther, and Laura.
