A Private Family Funeral services will be held on 10:00 am, Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery of Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be at Roseberry’s on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A prayer service wil be recited at Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. to conclude the visitation.

Mary was born to Arnold and Terry (Wanless) Grell on May 16, 1915 in Bear Valley, WI. She was one of nine children born to her parents. Mary married Alfonso "Dick" Greenwood on August 17, 1940 in Reedsburg, WI. She was a loving wife and mother, who took great pride in raising their four daughters. Mary was patient, gentle, good natured, eager to teach, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Alfonso - 1985); daughter (Patricia); four brothers (Louis, Walter, Hubert, and Frank); three sisters (Evelyn Haas, Dorothy Raczkowski and Margaret Grell) and two brother-in-laws (George Schonasky and Raynel Lonear).
