Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2004 at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Dwight Condon will officiate. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Roseberry’s.

Earl was born on September 16, 1940 in South Milwaukee the son of Virgil and Gladys (Plotz) Holsten. Earl served in the U.S. Marines from 1960 to 1963. He married Debra Ann Meyer on March 4, 1977 in Milwaukee. He drove truck and boxed while living in Milwaukee. He also had a towing business in Waukesha. He and his family moved to Red Granite area in 1979 and then to Adams County in 1982. In Adams County he drove truck and also did farm work.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Page and brother Bruce Holsten Sr.

Grandchildren: Zac, Lexi, and Kiana

Son: Todd (Lori) Holsten Sr., Baraboo, WI

Grandson: Todd Jr.

Daughter: Betty (Aaron) Brown, Wisconsin Dells, WI

Grandson: Kalleb
