A memorial services will be held at a later date at Zion Lutheran Church in Big Flats. Rev. Doug Steinke will officiate.

Lorraine was born on October 9, 1925 to Louis and Victoria (Podenski) Taraba in Chicago, IL. She attended Farragut High School in Illinois graduating in 1943. She married Howard "Jake" Jacobs on October 27, 1951 in Forest Park, IL. She worked for Western Electric for 3 years. They moved to Adams County in 1978 to retire. Lorraine was a Sunday School Teacher for Trinity Luthern Church in Adams and a cook specialist for the Adams Fire Department. Lorraine was a member of the Cary Lioness Club, president of the Grand Marsh Lioness Club, and Zion Lutheran Church in Big Flats.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents and husband (Jake).
