Dorothy Ann Poplowski, age 96 of Friendship, WI died Friday, August 13, 2004 at Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16^th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Adams. Father James McNamee will officiate. Burial will follow the services at St. Leo’s Cemetery in Friendship. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at St. Joseph’s.

Dorothy was born on February 6, 1908 to Joseph and Martha (Singer) Malinski in St. Paul, MN. She married the late Arthur Hanson in 1935. She then married Stanley Poplowski in 1946. Dorothy worked for J.C. Penny’s for many years. Dorothy enjoyed gambling, playing keno, poker, bingo, her horses and feeding the fish at Villa Pines Living Center. Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Adams.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; first husband (Arthur); Second husband (Stanley); and Seven brothers and sisters.
