LAURA
VIOLET GASTROW, age 88 of Easton, Wisconsin died Monday,
December 27, 2004 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital &
Clinics in Friendship, WI .Funeral services will be 11:00
am, Friday, December 31, at Roseberry's Funeral Home &
Crematory in Friendship. The Pastor Dwight Condon will
officiate. Interment will be in the Easton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service
on Friday.
Laura was born on July 27, 1916 to Roy and Polly (Lanphear)
Babcock in Grand Marsh, WI. She married Glenver Gastrow on
December 25, 1937 in Wisconsin Dells. They farmed for many
years. Laura was town of Easton treasurer for many years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW
Auxiliary, and the Easton Ladies Aid.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Polly;
husband, Glen; 3 brothers (Louie, Elwin "Buster", and Hubert
Babcock.); a niece, Barbara Martz and nephew, Elwin "Skip"
Babcock.

Niece: Norma Stumreiter, California
Sister-in-Law: Genevieve Wilson, Madison, WI
Also: many other grand nieces, grand nephews other relatives
