Robert
Ard Sr., age 68 of Necedah, Wisconsin died Tuesday, January
20, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin
after a courageous battle with cancer.A Funeral Mass will
be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23rd at
Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
Father Andrew Karoblis will officiate. Luncheon will
immediately follow in the church basement. Burial services
will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery
in Necedah, Wisconsin.
Robert was born October 5, 1935 to Grover and Emma
(Dehart) Ard in St. Charles, Illinois. Robert served in the
Marines and was stationed in Korea. Robert was married 47
wonderful years to his loving wife Mary Carol Feller, they
were married on May 23, 1955 in Huntley, IL.
Robert was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, Necedah.
Robert loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time
with his family. His favorite pastime was studying his maps
and planning his next fishing trip. Robert was a devoted
husband, father of eleven children, grandfather to forty
grandchildren, and great grandfather of two
great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and his
loving wife Mary (July 29, 2002);

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January
22nd at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
