RICHARD THOMAS GAYHART, age 80 of Friendship,
Wisconsin died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Adams
County Memorial Nursing Care Unit in Friendship following a
long illness.Funeral services will
be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31st at
Roseberry's Funeral Home and Crematory in Friendship. Rev.
Steven Hamilton will officiate. Military rites will be
offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American
Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American
Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Richard was born on August 6, 1923 in
Tipler, Wisconsin the son of Elhanon and Surilda (McDaniel)
Gayhart. Richard served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army
during World War Two in the South Pacific. He married Helen
Zoulek in 1961. He worked as a experimental molder for
Evinrude Outboard Marine. He retired in 1981. He and his
wife moved to Adams from Wauwatosa in 1985.
