Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 16^th at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship. Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate.

Jesse was born on October 30, 1921 to Agnew and Hessie (Geiger) Goodman in Grove Hill, AL. He married Mardell Peterson in 1950 in Madison, WI. Jesse served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Aircraft Carrier "Hornet". He was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation Bronze Star Eight for performance in combat during "Battle of Midway." Jesse worked for building Construction for 20 years, retiring in 1977.

Jesse enjoyed reading, walking, yard work, and bird watching. He was a member of the American Legion Post 437 in Mazomanie, WI for 32 years.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents.
