Margaret Mary Spaude, age 94
of Wittenberg, formally of Adams County died Wednesday, July
28, 2004 at Homme Home of Wittenberg.Funeral Service will
be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st, 2004 at
Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Rev. John Stake will
officiate. Burial to follow at the Olin Cemetery. Visitation
will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of
service.
Maggie was born on October 22, 1909 to Arthur and Blanche
(Gorman) Laabs in Oshkosh, WI. She grew up in "Kilbourn" –
now know as Wisconsin Dells. Her parents operated a dairy
farm there. Margaret married the late Henry Spaude on
November 11, 1936 in Wisconsin Dells. They also owned and
operated a dairy farm in Adams County. Margaret lived in
Adams County until 1994 and moved to Wittenberg.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband
(Henry, 1957), sister (Josephine) and brothers (Robert and
Ed).
