William
"Bill" Seaman, age 75 of Adams died Thursday, July 29, 2004
at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield, WI.Funeral
Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 2nd
at the Trinity Congregational Church in Adams. Rev. Richard
Corning will officiate. Cremation will follow the
traditional services.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
followed by Masonic services on Sunday, August 1st
at Roseberrys Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship.
Bill was born on May 16, 1929 to Edmund and Dorothy (Hagensick)
Czapiewski in Winona, MN. He attended school at
Adams-Friendship Area Schools, graduating in 1949. Bill
married Georgene Wordell on October 30, 1954 in Milwaukee,
WI. Bill served in the Navy during 1948-1952. He worked for
Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 38 years, retiring in
1990. Bill and his wife moved back to Adams County in 1973.
Bill enjoyed family get togethers, riding his scooter in
parades for the Zor Mavericks, his daily jaunt about town to
visit his many friends.
Bill was a member of the Zor Shrine Mavericks, Trinity
Congregational Church, Adams-American Legion, Tin Can
Sailors Association, and the Masonic Lodge.
His parents, brother Edmund and stepfather, Julius Seaman
preceded Bill in death.
