FLOYD D. BURDICK, age 66, of Grand Marsh, of Wisconsin died
Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital
in Friendship, WI following a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 28,
2004 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate. Interment
will be in the Townline Cemetery, Town of Springville,
Wisconsin. Visitation will be at Roseberry’s from 6 to 9
p.m. on Sunday and on Monday from 9 to the time of services.
Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279;
the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand
Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Floyd was born on August 28, 1937 to George and Gladys
(Griffin) Burdick in Lindsey, Wisconsin. He graduated
from Park High School of Racine, Wisconsin in 1954. Floyd
served as a paratrooper in the Army. He married Sharon DeDeyne on April
22, 1981 in Huron, South Dakota. They moved
to Adams County in 1981.
Floyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, racing, wood
carving, and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the
WBFA.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, many brothers
and sisters, and other family members.
