JOHN C. ANDERSON, age 76, of
Friendship, Wisconsin died Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the
Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship following a long
illness.Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,
March 27th, 2004 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in
Friendship. Pastor Steve Miller will officaite. Burial to
follow at the Mt. Repose Cemetery. Visitation will begin on
Saturday morning at 11 a..m. at Roseberry’s.
John was born on September 1, 1927 in Palentine, Illinois
the son of Carl and Ethyl (Cornel) Anderson. He married
Venita Strasburg on January 8, 1949 in Lake Mills,
Wisconsin. He farmed and also worked for Dairy Equipment
Company in Deerfield, Wisconsin retiring in 1989 when he and
his wife moved to Adams County. John enjoyed hunting,
golfing and reading.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Venita; one son,
David John Anderson; parents (Carl and Ethyl Anderson) and
brothers, Merton Anderson and Charles Anderson.
