DEAN ALFRED ZIMMERMAN,
age 67, of Friendship, of Wisconsin died Tuesday, March 30,
2004 at the University Hospital-Madison in Madison, WI
following a heart attack.A memorial service will be held
at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004 at Roseberry’s Funeral
Home & Crematory in Friendship. The Rev. Harold Moss will
officiate. Military rites will be offered by the AF VFW Post
#6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and
the Grand Marsh American Legion Snider-Richardson Post #273.
Dean was born August 13, 1936 to Alfred and Margaret
Zimmerman in Waukesha, WI. He grew up in Waukesha before
serving in the Marines. Dean worked at Modine Manufacturing
in Racine for 25 years, retiring in 2000. He moved to Adams
county in 2002.Dean loved the outdoors; he was an avid
hunter and fishermen and loved playing with his
grandchildren.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents and one brother
(David).
