Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7^th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams, WI. Rev. John Krebs will officiate. Burial will be held at Mt. Repose Cemetery in Friendship. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship.

Kay was born on January 11, 1939 to Robert and Ruth (Olson) Obershaw in La Crosse, WI. She and her family moved to Milwaukee during WWII while her father fought in the Pacific Theater of War in the Navy. They returned to the La Crosse area following the war, and Kay graduated from La Crosse Central in 1957. She married Richard Holt on October 18, 1958 in La Crosse, WI. The couple moved several times (Chicago, Richland Center, Milwaukee) before moving to Friendship in 1970.

Kay was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Adams VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Cancer Society, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Adams Fire Department.

Kay is preceded in death by her father and daughter (Tamara Kay Holt).
