Eugene Dent, age 68 of
Grand Marsh, WI died Monday, November 15th, 2004
at the VA Hospital in Madison.Funeral Service will be
held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19th at
Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship. Pastor
Dan Herod will officiate. Burial will follow at Gould Rock
Cemetery in the town of New Chester. Visitation will be held
from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Roseberry’s.
Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279;
the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand
Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Eugene was born on June 26, 1936 to John and Agnes
(Stapleton) Dent in Milwaukee, WI. Eugene joined the marines
at the age of 17. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and
drinking his Blatz. Eugene played darts on the tavern
league. He was a former employee of Ladish Co. in Milwaukee,
WI.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters
(Bette, Joyce, Barbara); 3 brothers (Calvin, Jordan,
Jerome); and one sister-in-law (Arlene).
Eugene is survived by 2 sons, Mark and Daniel Dent; 2
brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Dent; Joe Dent; ex-wife, Jean
Dent; 3 Brother-in-laws, Norman, Detters, Antonio Analla,
James Kordich; 7 Step-Children, 19 Step-Grandchildren, 3
Step-Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
