Clyde "Junior" Giessel, age 70 of Adams, WI died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams.

Rev. John Krebs will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Repose Cemetery. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5th at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.

Junior was born on March 22, 1934 to Clyde and Madeline (Gottschalk) Giessel Sr. in Milwaukee, WI. He married Bernice Pflughoeft on May 3, 1958 in Adams, WI. Junior served on the county and town board of Adams. Junior was employed at Adams County Highway Department as Highway commissioner until his retirement. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the local VFW, and the Easton-White Creek Lions Club. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing, casinos, boating, and camping with his family and friends.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents.

Wife: Bernice Giessel – Adams, WI

Daughter: Diane Osborn – Adams, WI

Son: Danny (Julie) Giessel - Friendship, WI

Son: Alan Giessel – Friendship, WI

Brother: Ronald "Bob" Giessel – Adams, WI

Sister: Marion (Warren) Short – Crystal Lake, IL

Also: 6 Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
