Irma A. Babcock age 88, of Easton, WI died Thursday, October 07, 2004 at Moundview Memorial Extended Care Clinic in Friendship.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10^th at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship. Pastor Dwight Condon will officiate. Burial will follow at Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at Roseberry’s.

Irma was born on October 10, 1915 to George and Maude Clough in Adams County, WI. She married Menzo "Curly" Babcock on January 8, 1931. Their marriage was blessed with five children. They were owners and operators of Babcock’s Cabins Resort on the Flambeau River in the early years of their marriage. They later moved to Easton where they made their home for their remaining years. Irma enjoyed many aspects of life including sewing, making quilts, playing cards, her children, grandchildren, and helping others. She was an active member of the Easton Ladies Aid and a member of the White Creek Church.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband (Curly); son (Walter); a son-in-law (Robert Pietrzak) an infant grandson; two great-grandchildren; her parents; three sisters and five brothers.
