Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams. Rev. Gary Olson will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Repose Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25 and from 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday all at the Assembly of God Church. Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jesse was born on July 26, 1946 to Fred and Belva (Ripley) Carlton in Oxford, WI. He married Elda Rick on July 13, 1963 in Caledonia, MN. He was a member of the New Chester Township for 15 years and was with the New Chester Fire Department for many years. Jesse was a Deacon and a member of the Adams Assembly of God Church for many years, foster parent to 30 plus foster children, was very active in numerous communities and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help.

Jesse enjoyed raising animals especially horses, watching the NASCAR races and taking his foster kids and family to Montana for a summer vacation. He loved being with his family and friends.

Jesse is preceded in death by his dad (Fred).
