Lyle H. Campbell,
age 65, of Friendship, WI died Thursday, October 14th,
2004 at the University Hospital in Madison following a long
illness.Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday,
October 18th, 2004 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home &
Crematory in Friendship. Chaplain Bill Jones will officiate.
Cremation will follow the traditional service with final
internment at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, WI.
Visitation will be at Roseberry’s on Monday from 12 Noon
until the time of service.
Lyle was born November 27, 1938 in Adams, Wisconsin the
son of Earl and Annie (Stanflee) Campbell. He worked as a
pulp cutter and Delmonte Farms. He retired in the early
1980’s as a result of an injury he received while working.
Lyle enjoyed reading, chess, cribbage, loved listening to
Indian flute music, and watching westerns.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers
(Eugene, Earl, Bernard, Loral, and Harold); sister (Esther
Fairfield); and one grandson (Richard Earl Melvin III).
