AGATHA C. RIERSON, age
85 of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Thursday, September 23, 2004
at the Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston.
Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Monday,
September 27th at Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship. Father Daniel Kelly will officiate. Cremation
will follow the traditional service with final interment at
the South Arkdale Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Roseberry’s on
Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Agatha was born on August 15, 1919 the
daughter of Michael and Agatha (Schneider) Voeller in Silva,
North Dakota. She married Harold Rierson on October 23, 1945
in Balta, North Dakota. They moved to Adams County in 1945.
Agatha worked as a seamstress for Mauston Manufacturing
Company for 33 years. Prior to this she worked for Jerdee’s
and Wise’s Grocery Store in Arkdale and at the Bottineau
Hospital in North Dakota.
More than anything else Agatha enjoyed her
grandchildren and great grandchild, "A. C." Unfortunately,
she did not know of her newest great grandchild Kien, born
on September 22nd.
She was preceded in death by her parents
and five brothers and sisters: Magdalena Pfeifer, Catharine
Hoffart, Ned Voeller, Rochus Voeller, and Mary Rierson. Also
preceding her in death was her great granddaughter, Priya
Rierson.
