Walter W. Lueck, age 74, of
Coloma, Wisconsin died Saturday, April 02, 2005 at the St.
Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Funeral
services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 07, 2005 at
the Roseberry's Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship,
Wisconsin. The Pastor Pam Knolinski will officiate.
Internment will be at the South Burr Oak Cemetery, Town of
Richfield, Adams County, Wisconsin. Military rites will be
offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American
Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American
Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon until the time
of service at Roseberry's.
Walter was born March 16, 1931 in the Adams County
Township of Richfield to Walter Louis Lueck and Marcene
Baynton. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the
Korean War. He married Lila Boy on June 28, 1952 in Coloma,
Wisconsin. Walter worked as a forest ranger for the D.N.R.,
retiring in 1983. He then served as curator for the
Roch-a-Cri State Park until 1996.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; daughter
(Cherry L. Malec - 1985); brothers (Franklin – 1977, and
Donald -1988).
