JUDITH
ELAINE THOMPSON, age 62, of Friendship, Wisconsin
died suddenly on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at her home.
Funeral
services will be Wednesday, April 6th at
Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Calling hours will
be from 4:00 to 7:00pm, with a funeral service at
7:00pm. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Cremation will
follow the traditional service with final internment on the
family plot in the Quincy Cemetery.
Judy was
born on February 7, 1943 in Newport News, Virginia the
daughter of Floyd A. and Doris (Price) Wood. She married
Roy Thompson on October 21, 1961 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
They moved to Adams County from Stone Bank, Wisconsin in
1970. Judy worked as a nurse for the Adams County Memorial
Hospital before becoming the Economic Support Supervisor for
the Adams County Department of Social Services. She also
was co-owner and manager of Westwind Estates Mobile Home
Park. Judy enjoyed bird watching, shopping, the Green Bay
Packers, suspense novels, and spending time with family and
friends.
She was
preceded in death by her father, Floyd Wood.
