Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 07, 2005 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. The Rev. Kathryn Schifferdecker will officiate. Cremation will follow the service with final internment in the Strongs Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Janet was born March 26, 1950 in Arkdale, Wisconsin to Paul Short and Loretta Buchanan. She married Christ Hohenstein on May 09, 1969 in Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church. Janet was a day care provider for over 20 years. Recently, she was employed with the Adams-Friendship School District.

Janet will be best remembered for her love and knowledge of flowers and everything green. She enjoyed her involvement with children in the local community, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and 4-H leader.
