Arlis Smedbron, age 78, of Dellwood, Wisconsin died Monday,
August 1, 2005 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics
in Friendship, Wisconsin.Funeral
services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 06, 2005 at
the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin.
The Rev. Cathryn Schifferdecker will officiate. Interment
will be at the South Arkdale Cemetery, Town of Strongs
Prairie, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral
Home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Pearl was born June 1, 1927 in the Adams
County Township of Strongs Prairie, Wisconsin to Oscar and
Clara (Rosgard) Waller. She graduated from Adams-Friendship
High School in 1945. She went to hairdressing school in
Madison and became a beautician. Pearl married Ivan W.
Smedbron on May 30, 1953 in Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church.
She worked in Milwaukee, Louisville, KY, and moved back to
Adams in 1954. She worked at Marion’s Beauty Shop in Adams
until her retirement in 1988.
Pearl enjoyed spending time with her
family, fishing, traveling, gardening, sewing, and cooking.
Pearl was baptized and confirmed in the
Lutheran Church and was a member of the Arkdale Trinity
Lutheran Church.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents (Oscar and
Clara); Brother (Harold); three sisters (Dorothy Waller,
Bertha Erste, Ada Fakes)
and
Daughter-in-law (Julie Smedbron).
