Joseph F. Turziak, age 72, of Town of Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin died August 31, 2005 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison after being diagnosed with acute leukemia.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2005 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Sam Downey will officiate. Family will serve a luncheon at the VFW Post in Adams immediately following the service. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.

Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.

Joseph was born August 01, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Bartholomew and Rozalia M. (Las) Turziak. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the Navy. He married Jacquelyn Jeanette Christy on November 09, 1963 at St. Bernadett’s Catholic Church in Evergreen Park, IL. Joseph retired from Continental Can Company in 1980 after 30 years of employment and moved to Adams County with his wife and daughter.

Joseph was a life member of the Adams VFW Post #6279 and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; wife (Jacquelyn Jeanette); brother (Frank); and niece (Nancy).
