Lois Engnath, age 89 of Mt. Horeb, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Ingle Living Communities in Mt. Horeb.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 26^th at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship, WI. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Burial will follow at Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30.

Lois was born on July 4, 1915 to Roy and Edna (Hawes) Thorne in Adams County, WI. Lois married Frank Herbert Engnath on February 3, 1934 in Wisconsin Dells. They resided in Wisconsin Dells until 1979 and moved to Waunakee and then to Edgerton, WI in 1988. In 1998 Lois entered 4 Winds Nursing Home in Verona and in 1999 transferred to Ingleside Nursing Home in Mt. Horeb. Lois was a member of the Wisconsin Dells Presbyterian Church and Golden Wauna’s of Waunakee. Lois loved spending time with her family, all types of crafts, playing cards and bingo.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother (Dale Thorne); two sisters (Lula Platt) and (Hildreth Pfeifer).
