Thelma McGowan, age 81,
of Adams, WI died Friday, February 25, 2005 at St. Luke’s
Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.Funeral Service will be held at
10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home
& Crematory in Friendship. Father James McNamee will
officiate. Burial will follow at Gould Rock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on
Monday, February 28th at Roseberry’s.
Thelma was born on December 6, 1923 to Adolph and Olga
Flink in Upper Michigan. Thelma married Rex McChesney on
February 14, 1953 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death.
Thelma remarried in September 1978 to Bernard McGowan in
Grand Marsh. He also preceded her in death. Thelma was a
member of the Eastern Star.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; husband
(Rex); 2nd husband (Bernard); daughter (Leslee
Ann Manfredini); and brother (Jack Flink).
