Mildred Mary Barich, age 86, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Interment will be at the Fordam Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mildred was born September 17, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Ann (Franta) Krajicek. She married Frank Barich on May 25, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois.

Mildred loved to dance; waltzing her way into Frank’s heart 64 years ago. They danced together at every celebration, and still bounced to the beat with her walker, these last few years.

Mildred loved to please her family. She enjoyed cooking great Czech meals for them, especially pork, dumplings and sauerkraut. A favorite memory for the grandchildren was "making bread on the farm with Granny."

In her younger days, she was a seamstress and continued to sew for her family after she married Frank. Mildred was a Boy Scout Den Mother for her son LeRoy and a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter Roseanne. She was a life long member of Czechoslovak Society of America, being active in her Lodge Caslav# 85 for many years and also the Adams Friendship Senior Citizens.

In her senior years Mildred loved traveling throughout the United States with Frank. She especially enjoyed her most recent trip to Alaska with her loving family, to celebrate 60 years of marriage with Frank.

Mildred’s happy 86 years have come to an end; but we will all remember her encouraging smile, her kind and patient spirit, and her never ending Love!
