Grace
Anna Brogan, age 89, of Arcadia (formerly of
Adams-Friendship) Wisconsin died Friday July 8, 2005 at
Franciscan Skemp Health Care in Arcadia, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in
Adams, Wisconsin. The Father James P. McNamee will
officiate. Interment will be at St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery,
Friendship, WI.
Visitation will be at the church on
Tuesday, July 12 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Grace was born May 9, 1916 in Necedah,
Wisconsin to Frank and Lucy (Arquette) O'Toole. She married
Charles Thomas Brogan on September 5, 1936 in Adams,
Wisconsin. Charles died on August 11, 1979. Grace married
Alvin Hintz Sr. on June 22, 1985. Alvin passed away December
30, 1986.
Grace graduated from Adams-Friendship High
School and Wood County Normal with a teaching certificate.
Grace enjoyed bowling, golfing,
cross-country skiing, quilting and sewing, traveling, and
spending time with her family and friends.
Grace was an active member of St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church of Adams and the Adams County Retired
Teachers Association.
Her parents; her brother (John O’Toole); a
son-in-law (Richard Sobota); and an infant granddaughter
(Mary Curry) also preceded Grace in death.
