Edna Eleanore Henriksen, age
87 of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, formally of Wisconsin Dells and
Adams, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Angelus Retirement
Community following a brief illness. Funeral services will
be 11:00 am on Friday, July 8th at Roseberry's
Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at
the Plainville Cemetery, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be from10:00 a.m. to the time of service on
Friday at Roseberry's.
Edna was born December 13, 1917 in Adams, Wisconsin the
daughter of Arthur Frederick and Sadie Bell (Tucker) Galitz.
She married William Henriksen on July 05, 1935 at the
Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells. Edna had various jobs
over the years in restaurants and hotels in the Dells area.
She worked at Badger Ordinance in the Baraboo area during
WWII. Edna owned and operated the Easton Store for 16 years
before retiring.
Edna very much enjoyed growing and taking care of her
plants. She so very much loved her late husband William and
the times and places they spent with each other.
Edna was preceded in death by her father (Arthur Galitz);
Mother (Sadie Bell Tucker); Husband (William); Sister (Evangline
Galitz); and Brother (Robert Galitz).

of Texas
