Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald Hanson will officiate. Family interment will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the Green Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Georgene was born May 31, 1946 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Charles William and Mary (Kraus) Raschke. She graduated from Herzog Elementary School in 1960, and from Union High School of Union Grove, Wisconsin in 1964. Georgene was President of the National Honor Society. She married Lester Kirchner on February 29, 1964 at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This union was blessed with three daughters. In 1978, the family moved to the Arkdale area and continued farming until the present.

Georgene was previously president of the Strongs Prairie Community Club; a member of the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church and a past member of its council; and currently a member of the Adams County Fire District; and enjoyed volunteering in the community.

Georgene was preceded in death by her father, Charles.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Roche-A-Cri Elementary School.
