CHARLES JUNIOR COLE, age 67 of Arkdale, Wisconsin died
Sunday, March 13, 2005 at his home in Arkdale, WI.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 16,
2005 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. The Rev. Jerry Stamper will officiate. Interment
will be in the Monroe Center Cemetery. Visitation will be at
Roseberry's on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of
service. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW
Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250;
and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post
#273.
Charles was born January 2, 1938 in Kendall, Wisconsin
the son of Charles and Jennie (Gray) Cole. He married
Beverly Powell on November 11, 1961 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
Charles worked for the Nekoosa Paper Mill as a machine
tender, retiring in 1993.
Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, spending
time with family and grandchildren, camping, and bird
watching. Charles was a member and past board member of the
Monroe Center Church. He also volunteered for many area
organizations.
Charles was preceded in death by his father (Charles Cole
Sr.); Brothers (Robert and Daniel); Sister (Gloria);
Sister-in-laws (Elenora, Dorothy, and LaVerne);
Brother-in-laws (Donald Powell, Clyde Hunnington, and Duane
Martin); Mother-in-law (Lela Powell); and Father-in-law (Ansil
Powell)
Charles was never
one to turn down a person in need, and will be missed by
everyones' life he touched.
