John C.
Paul, age 62, of Monroe Center, Wisconsin died Monday, March
7th, 2005 at the Aspirus – Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12th,
2005 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship,
WI. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Cremation will
follow the traditional service, with final interment at the
Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois. Military rites
will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams
American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh
American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be at Roseberry’s on Friday from 4 to 8
p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
John was born August 26, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo
and Joan (Helwink)
Paul. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the
Army. John married Diane Pieper on May 28, 1983 in Morton
Grove, IL. John retired as a consulting engineer and also
served with the Skokie, IL police department.
John was a member of the Elks, American Legion, a past
member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former Supervisor
of District 15, Adams County Board.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
