Gina
M. Knetter, age 43, of Marshfield died Sunday, May 8, 2005
at St. Joseph's Hospital following a brief illness.A
Memorial Funeral Service will be at held 10:30 A.M. on
Saturday, May 14th at St. John the Baptist Church
in Marshfield. Father Stoetzel will officiate.
Gina was born August 15, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa the
daughter of James and Thyra (Johnson) Link. She married
Jerry Knetter on May 13, 1983 in Marshfield where they made
their home. Gina’s hobbies were perennial gardening, love
and affection for animals, an avid reader and Packer fan,
walking with her dog, relaxed with her knitting, an expert
on crossword puzzles and enjoyed photography. She was a
member of the Zoological Society and Clark County Humane
Society.
Gina was preceded in death by her mother, Thyra Link;
brother, Brian Link; grandparents; Gustave and Louise
Johnson and Walter and Ina Link

Gina was always so willing to help her friends and
family. Many friends, old and new have been so appreciative
of her friendship and her desire to help. She was like a
second mother to her nieces and nephews. Gina enjoyed their
stays. She was articulate and a take-charge kind of person.
Her animal family consisted of five cats (Tazz, Jake,
Sophie, Tika, and Jade) and their newest member Tayla her
yellow Lab.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Gina’s name may be made
to Clark County Humane Society, Neillsville, WI.
