Clara
Laura Waller Greene, age 80, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died
Wednesday, May 11th, 2005 at her home surrounded by her
loved ones.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday,
May 16, 2005 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in
Arkdale, Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald Hanson will
officiate. Interment will be at the South Arkdale Cemetery,
Arkdale, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Roseberry's
Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will also be held on
Monday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of
service.
Clara was born May 22, 1924 in the Adams County township
of Monroe, Wisconsin to Irwin Walter and Jessie Marie
(Matthews) York. She married Harold Waller on Feb. 10th,
1945 in Vincennes, IN. They made their home in Arkdale.
Harold died in 1968, she then married Ernest Greene November
18, 1971 in Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. Clara retired
from Farnam Sealing Systems in 1994 at the age of 70.
Clara enjoyed rummage sales, collections of teapots and
teakettles, and other collectables. She enjoyed her yard and
garden and flowers, family gatherings, and Packer games.
Clara was a member of the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church
and a former member of the Roche-a-Cri Lion’s Club.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband
(Harold – 1968); infant daughters (Patricia and Sherrie Lynn
Waller); second husband (Ernest Greene – 1983); and sister
(Doris Oleson).
