Thomas W. Elkington, age 80,
of Lake Suzy, Florida died Thursday, September 29, 2005.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, October
28th at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.
Masonic services will be held, and then Rev. Richard Corning
will officiate at the funeral service.
Interment will be in Mount Repose Cemetery in Friendship.
The Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red
Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion
Snyder-Richardson Post #273 will offer military rites.
Tom was born April 30, 1925 in Adams and he attended the
Adams schools. During World War Two, Tom joined the U.S.
Army serving in the infantry for three years. He returned to
Adams and completed High School and then joined the U.S. Air
Force and served for 20 years. After his retiring from the
Armed Services, he worked for 10 years as a Wisconsin Park
Ranger in Adams County before moving to Florida.
Tom was a lifetime member of the Adams VFW Post 6279 and
the Adams Masonic Lodge.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister
(Alice).
His wife, Delores of Lake Suzy, Florida; daughter of
LaCrosse, WI; sister, Madge McGregor of Adams; brother,
Ralph Elkington of Superior, WI; stepsons, Bill and Dick and
two grandsons survive Tom. Many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends also survive him.

or the U. M. Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1475 W.
12th Ave., Miami, FL 33136
