Howard
Patrick Bodett, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin died
Friday, September 9, 2005 at the Villa Pines Living Center
in Friendship, Wisconsin. Funeral
services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at
the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. The
Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at
the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Military
rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams
American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh
American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral
Home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Howard was born April 20, 1918 in Chicago,
Illinois to Howard and Martha Bodett. He grew up in Chicago,
and following his graduation he served in the Army during
WWII. Howard was a combat medic in the First Infantry – he
served in the European Theater of War. Howard was a prisoner
of war for 2 months in 1945. Howard married Nona Roeder on
February 14, 1986 in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Howard worked as a sheet metal worker in
Chicago, IL for many years, retiring in 1979. He moved to
Adams County shortly thereafter.
Howard enjoyed watching the History
Channel and his beloved Cubs on television.
Howard was preceded in death by his
parents, two brothers (Robert and William Bodett); and
step-daughter (Janice Schmidt).

Step-son: Richard Roeder of
Watertown, Wisconsin
Step-Son: Leslie (Sue) Roeder
of Mesa, AZ
Step-Grandchildren: 6
Step-Great-Grandchildren: 6
