Jennie Geneva Cole, age 95, of Monroe Center, Wisconsin died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm. on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Jerry Stamper will officiate. Interment will be at the Monroe Center Cemetery, Town of Monroe, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 to 1 p.m.

Jennie was born June 23, 1910 in Kendall, Wisconsin to Carroll and Catherine (Jacobs) Gray.

She married Charles William Cole on November 26, 1924. The couple lived in the Town of Monroe since 1948.

Jennie enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her baking skills with her bread and soft molasses cookies.

Jennie was a member of the Monroe Center Church, Ladies Aid, and the Adams County Senior Citizens.

Jennie had been living at the Villa Pines Living Center, where she enjoyed many group activities and especially visiting with her roommate Betty Miller.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Catherine Gray; husband, Charles Cole Sr.; Sons, Robert [Nonie] Cole, Daniel [Laverne] Cole, and Charles Cole Jr.; daughter, Gloria [Duane] Martin; four brothers Bill, Cal, Joe and Abe Gray; and four sisters Etta, Lydia, Catherine, and Addie; sons-in-law, Gordon and Clyde Huntington

Survivors:

Daughter: Wanda Huntington of Belvidere, IL

Daughter: Ruth (Ralph) Ostrum of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Daughter: Helen (Charles) Anderson of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Son: Eugene (Dawn) Cole of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Son: Gerald (Helga) Cole of Decatur, IL

Daughter: Sharon Huntington of Sparta, Wisconsin

Sister: Lula McCollum of Madison, Wisconsin

Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Daughter-in-law: Beverly Cole of Arkdale, Wisconsin

She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Monroe Center Church.
